It's been some time since I've blogged. =P

Stuck at home after a whole day of FUN yesterday. What a huge contrast. Cannot get used to it leh... hehe! Will update about how I spent my National Day again soon after I got some photos to upload here. So today was a whole day of doing-my-homework-plus-extra-mugging. 0_o

Staying cooped up at home can leave me thinking ALOT! And I mean it. 胡思乱想... This is not always very good for me... And I'm left feeling so stressed up... -__-"" !!

I started to think of my future: I can never be a 'tai-tai'.

Apple jie's definition of a 'tai-tai' (I asked her just to make sure): "a woman who doesn't need to work to earn money, receives income from her husband, and likes spending money on expensive goods"

yeah, so I'm right about what 'tai-tai's are. LOL! Great, now I shall start my discussion. Yeah!

I have to re-state my stand: I can NEVER be a 'tai-tai' in the future.
No. I don't want to. I need freedom! Today has been another test for me to stay at home and GET DOWN TO WORK. ARGH! And frankly speaking, IT WAS HORRIBLE.

OK, I have to admit that sometimes I need my space and to be alone, but this cannot last for very long, 'coz I'm an outdoor person. I need bigger space!!! LOL... Does it seem like I'm venting my frustration here? Sorry... I'm supposed to discuss about 'tai-tai's...

Keke.. Back to discussion proper.
How many people in Singapore would love to be a 'tai-tai'? I don't think a lot of us do... Considering the number of singles nowadays... oops! =x but one of my teacher, who's so pretty and capable, actually told me she don't want to marry but she wants to be a career woman. wahhh... Do you admire her or think otherwise?

I used to feel that women who choose career over having a family of their own are society's wasted resource which leads to ageing population which results in our nation's emergency issue. Now, I've changed... I've started to understand why these women react this way, why they choose to take this 'single path'...

Actually, I think 'tai-tai's have no life. They would
1) just be shopping around for luxury items which most of us don't need unless it is necessary,
2) spend their money like mud,
3) stay at home and rot with the maid doing work,
4) not much goals in life,
5) feeling miserable when husband's not around for company.

I think there's more down the list. hehe!
But seriously, I will NEVER EVER be a 'tai-tai' in my whole life! I'd rather be poor than to be rich enough not to do any work and worry about what to do. So 无聊！
