I'm starting to do serious reflection on myself every now and then, recently, which is a very good thing. I feel more spiritual, more positive. I like that!
For your information, "spiritual" doesn't mean "religious".
I'm starting to think more about the people I've not been in contact with for a while. I had been resting in my nest over the past few weeks, or even months, because it's just so tiring to go out socialising and catching up with my dear friends every now and then, as I've got so many of them whom I care so much about.
Now, I realised I cannot be so selfish. I need to learn how to manage my own work and spend time with my dearests. I'm sure I can do it. :)
You know... Gaining happiness doesn't really have to seek from going shopping, hanging out with friends or doing the wildest thing which you've never done in your life.
I believe, that genuine happiness comes from deep within ourselves.
:)
How? Through doing self-reflection, changing yourself instead of requesting others to change for you. How can they change for you if you can't even change yourself?
I came across a quote:
"Everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself." --Leo Tolstoy
...
and it makes me think of this quote:
"You must be the change you see in the world." --Mahatma Gandhi
We have to start the change from ourselves, to be role models for others to change too.
That is how we are able to change the world, for the better. :)
Changing the world for the better is part of what I see my role as.
That's why the above quotes gave me an impact. Their words "sound" strongly in my ears.
This is because we are all different individuals who've different backgrounds.
God only give us challenges which we need.
上帝给你的考验一定是你最需要的。
We need not hide away from it, or from God.
Instead, we have to trust God, and trust ourselves that we can do it, as long as we want to. :)
All these, are all I've always wanted to share to everyone.
Currently, I'm still changing, evolving, molding myself.
Undergoing the change process... still learning, and wanting to learn more.
