I'm supposed to post my photos of my birthday celebration during the past week, but I haven't really have the time to collate everything properly, so now, I'll just post some thoughts as usual. :)
I've been thinking about relationships. (hehe..just being random)
I guess at this age, my mind would probably be surrounding on this topic for a large amount of the time lah... As Dr Ong had mentioned during lecture, young adults at my age tend to want to go out and explore, and the curiosity for the opposite gender grows even more at the same time. hmm... As for adolescents, they tend to have imaginary audience around them (which doesn't even exist in the first place!). That's why when we're between the age of 14-18, we tend to think that there're people watching us, critising our dressing styles etc.
I haven't really grown out of 18 years old. Uh-oh... Does that mean anything? Maybe I'm just getting used to being 19. Sighs. -.- So fast!
I don't wish to grow up! And everytime I say this, I'd be reminded of someone who once told me, "No one is prepared to grow up at all, even the adults feel childish most of the times." I think this is because everyone of us desire acceptance, attention and love from our friends and families as well as our society which we're in. In any way, we're still ordinary human-beings.
And being 19, the feeling is definitely very different from how I felt as an 18 year old.
Because..........I've only less than a year more to step into 20....suddenly feeling very old. =X but of course, the feeling of maturity is even more stronger at this stage--both a good and bad sign.
But, it's quite irritating to feel so emotional and sentimental at times, but ironically, I do indulge in this feeling almost all the time. The worst thing is: the more I try to stop myself from indulging any further, the more I fall into this trap. Maybe I can fantasize, but I should seriously be focusing more on my school work, isn't it?
And...I don't have much confidence in myself at times, which is a disadvantage to myself.
就走一步算一步吧?
