I started reading this book yesterday. And I cried many times.
It's the very first time I cry when I read a book, 'coz I've never in my whole life been so touched by any story of a book at all.
Anyway, back to description proper. This story is a compilation of 3 real-life stories, all describing about the author's life, from his eighth living year to his adulthood. He was being abused and treated without dignity and respect by his family, especially his mum. The story describes how Dave Pelzer learned how to survive in life, especially after his childhood torment.
An inspirational story, one which induces us to reflect on our own society that we live in.
An excellent book that I'd introduce you to read.
Tsk tsk... I've got that book. Tsk tsk... hahaha... =P
