Obama calls for US, Europe coordinationPRAGUE - President Barack Obama is promising European Union leaders that the United States is ready to work with them to combat the dangers of climate change, and he is asking for help, too.
Speaking at a U.S.-European Union summit, Obama called for a quick, joint statement condemning the North Korean rocket launch.
He is also asking for European cooperation in accepting detainees from the Guantanamo Bay prison that he has ordered closed by early next year. And Obama is calling for Europe's help in keeping pressure on Iran to stop pursuing a nuclear weapons program, and in working with Russia to stop the spread of nuclear weapons.
He says the leaders must work together on stabilizing Afghanistan to prevent terrorist attacks on Europe and the U.S.

Call for Europe's help, Russia's aid... then what?
The process is really slow. I just feel that we cannot change much unless everyone has the motivation to want to save our earth.
But it just seems that our dearest comrades are more concerned about their own welfare than Mother Earth.
Melting of ice caps? Polar bears losing their habitats? Floods in other countries?
Who cares?
We shall continue to go shopping, lie in bed dreaming about our future prince/princess..
What should I wear to work tomorrow?
