3rd day of Study Week.
Counting down: 5 days to my first exam paper. Woohoo!
Even during this period, I could even read spiritual books and take some time to relax, play and enjoy myself. I seem to always feel more playful nearing exams, although there will always be some pretty high level of stress as well.
But doing things which I like during stressful periods are a joy, and a form of rewarding myself for studying so hard. :D
I remembered how happy I was when I got an email from my Philosophy tutor that I got 19/25 for my final essay paper! It constitutes 30% of my CA! My essay first draft was 13/25, which made up 20% CA. I was very upset then. Therefore, when I got back my results for the final one, I WAS ALMOST SHRIEKING AND JUMPING FOR JOY. OK, not literally, but seriously, I was elated. IT WAS A BLESSING. Thank God. :D My essay improved from a C+ to a B+, after so much effort put into it. I've rarely had such excitement and happiness now... and feeling this once again during the 1st day of Study Week (which was 2 days ago) is MAD. I would use this word to describe because it was too overwhelming. I couldn't contain my excitement, so I smsed many of my friends about it to share my joy, and managed to calm myself down slightly, eventually. Whew~ I think I smsed about 10 people, and ALL of them replied my sms. hahaha.. thank you so much, everyone! :)
You know... Life is very interesting, because it never stops changing.
And because of this, it never made me stop improving myself. I love to constantly improve, although at times I feel my own resistance within me, and also like what Ed said, "feeling the resistance of others' resistance". I realised that my trying to influence or impart values on others has been very strong inside me, and I'm trying to reduce this intensity which keeps building inside. It's very challenging for me, but I'm doing this for the good of everyone, sometimes. :)
And because life never stops changing, it also will not stop even when a person dies.
It will continue forever.
Because of Love.
God's Love, to be very exact.
God's Love for us to have the freedom of choice.
Choice of whether to change for the better or for the worse.
Even when we don't want to change, we're choosing not to change, for the better or the worse.
*Some people will feel resistant to the word "God", because it sounds so "religious". But no, I'm not saying this on behalf of any religion per se, but it came from the bottom of my heart which contains that universal love that everyone has had it all the while, but has not been fully acknowledging this love within them.*
