In school now and crashing a lecture at 2pm. hee!
There was a dilemma of me taking and dropping modules. The modules suddenly seem so interesting or practical to me somehow. However, I just have to be decisive about it and stop being so hesitant. This is most of the time my weakness--indecisiveness. I dislike it. I'm still trying to learn to be decisive but careful about my decisions. It isn't an easy skill to master. When I'm decisive, I tend to neglect certain aspect of things more. When I'm less decisive, I tend to think too much and worry about which decisions to make.
Haiyah!
Ok I can't be bothered about this because I've actually already decided this semester's modules for this year. :)
Just something which's in my head, and also links with the above issue on being decisive:
Why am I rushing like everyone else? I've become part of the whole society.
Even when I'm not rushing, my heart beats up and down in an abnormal pace, my mind goes in a whirl like it usually does even when it deserves a break after a whole day's work.
My life has integrated into that of the general society, especially in a hectic city like Singapore, after more than 21 years of survival.
And I don't like that too.
I want a life of a slower pace, regardless of how much work and responsibilities I've on hand. It's:
EITHER I migrate to somewhere else in future, "tahan" this kind of hectic lifestyle for a while more,
OR I have to start sharpening my self-awareness and make it a life habit so that I'm in control of my mind.
Of course, the solution to the root of this problem is option 2.
I watched Paranomal Activity 2 yesterday.
It was awesome, and I didn't know why some people can watch until they want to sleep.. =x
At first, the camera recordings were so wobbly and shaky and also boring, so I thought it was a wrong choice to watch it, but luckily climax came about quite quickly (haha), and it was not too bad a show! :) I wonder if this movie was based on a real life story. Hmm...
Well, why do I suddenly bring up this movie?
It did mention about ignoring the problem that's surfaced, so that the pain will go away.
I totally disagree. Look what happened in the end. 3 lives were taken away just because the family chose to ignore and escape from the problem. The daughter, although survived, must have had to face the sudden deaths of her loved ones and being an orphan out of the blue after returning from a school trip.
So the main point is: Everything that's happening in my life now, is the cause of the root problem (which is something I need to go through myself again), that is the reason why I'm having a mad race with everyone else, and why I'm troubled over minor issues like the module-choosing dilemma. Oh..
