WELCOME TO http://i-am-special-as-always.blogspot.com*
This blog belongs to Shar! =D
Let me introduce myself. I'm a lady who craves for a simple life, in this complicated world.
I love the love that exists in this world. I smile when I experience love, I tear when I'm touched, I daydream when I'm bored. I like things simple, but also deep--the depth of things, very meaningful.
I have love and sunshine bursting out of me. :D Believe it or not, love always wins.
♥ Hello
Shar! :)
I've survived 21 years!
A Happy Vegetarian!
The Special Leftie.
Ever since I got to know I'm sick, I've been very interested to know more about my own condition, something that concerns me and many people around me (surprisingly). Therefore, I shall share with you all more about interesting cancer information and research whenever I can! :D
Before I start everything, I just want to put a disclaimer (probably more like an encouragement for everyone): Cancer is not a death sentence, but rather a good friend of ours.
My dad shared with me a recent newspaper article just a few days ago, and he told me to read it, in which there is a website that links the article's contents to it. The website is www.ted.com, and below is the video which the author of the article wrote about:
A talk by William Li: Can we eat to starve cancer? William Li heads the Angiogenesis Foundation, a nonprofit that is re-conceptualizing global disease fighting. I would be very supportive of his medicine for future tumour and cancer treatments. In future, cancer patients wouldn't have to go through chemotherapy or radiotherapy anymore! That's what I call 对症下药!I'd rather respect my body cells than to go through all those chemical side effects. Chemotherapy has disrespected my body again and again...
A friend told me, "Don't lose hope, because the medical world is exploring and discovering new medicine every second! Maybe there would be a better treatment or cure just the next moment!"
However, frankly speaking, I just want to heal myself naturally, but it might take a longer period of time. (Am I lacking confidence here? Hmm...)
I talked to my liver this morning, and asked it if it could be able to detoxify by itself (You know, Do-It-Yourself, D.I.Y.) at the moment. It replied me by saying, "Of course I can! I will get better and better each day, and get rid of the toxins in your body. Believe me, be confident of yourself!"
Yes, how can I forget to do that? 俗话说:天有好生之德。 It's a statement I love very much and feel very grateful about. :) As long as I go along with Nature, and follow the right path of healing and recuperation, my lovely cells will keep growing and just like what Mr. William Li said, the cancer cells will return to its normal state as it doesn't get fed by our blood vessels in the first place.
