Yesterday was my aunt's treat to lunch at North South East West Vegetarian Restaurant! :D The food there was considered not bad, and eating in a small, cosy, air-conditioned environment with my big group of family members was indeed a memorable moment. There was Buddhist music playing over the sound system, and friendly waiters. There was a variety of finger food and maggie mee packets sold at the counter. The variety of vegetarian maggie mee sold was the largest I've seen in my whole life at this restaurant! It's like the whole shelf full of them! The menu was wonderful too, because there were SO MUCH FOOD to choose from (although with a few dishes sold out)! However, there was a self-service section for the utensils, which means we have to take the needed utensils ourselves. There wasn't any serviettes, so we've to remember to bring tissue papers everytime we go there to eat ah!

I took some photos of the food we ordered:
Almond drink! It's has almond bits and sago to chew on... Can see? I'll order this drink again next time I visit! :D
Vegetarian Pork chop! Heh heh. I finally ate one small french fry, and chewed it slowly enough to remember the taste of it, so that I don't crave for this naughty food for long. French fries doesn't come easy to my plate of food, you know? :D
This was the best dish I tried because it's bite into the mock meat was very tender and chewy, but at most 2 or 3 should be eaten as too much would not taste as good anymore. The food taste itself is heavy.
Pizza!!! A pity my siblings weren't there to enjoy it with me... ):
Baked rice. A dish which I took photo of, but didn't get to try?! (I only realised it after we went off after lunch ): )
Overall,
Food range and menu: Excellent!
Service and ambience: Very good!
Food taste and dishes: Good!
Price: $2.80~$6.80 (Excellent and reasonable)
Address: 200 Tanjong Katong Road (Opens Tues-Sun, 11am-10pm)

OK, enough of food.
Next week's is my 5th course of chemo, and I'm already having the fear and dread once again. Yet, sometimes I feel that chemo isn't everything that I should focus on.
Perhaps it's what Brother said about my situation of getting lost in the desert and trying to find a way out. When it's in the day, I can't do anything because the stars can't be seen. This is the times when I feel low energy and tired. When it's at night and the stars are out, I can find my own direction. It's the days which I feel better and fine that are the "night times", times when I can do something for myself to get better and healthier and stronger each passing day.
I'm not going to be knocked down by laziness or fatigue from treatment and strange happenings to me. I want to strive on and emerge the best out of my own best!
When there's a will, there's always a way.
