This week seems like a week that is becoming what I normally do in the past. Suddenly, I feel so uncomfortable with it, because it has been months since I get to do things I haven't been doing that is overloading myself with full of appointments within a week. This week, there'll be a random visit to my aunt's house in one of the afternoon and staying overnight at Resort World Sentosa (surprising huh?!) and then going to Universal Studios to play! It's going to take up 3 days of these weekdays. I also promised to have a movie date with Sister tonight, but my mum didn't allow this, so I had to postpone it eventually. Otherwise it would seem really like a busy week for me, especially when this weekend is fully occupied again.
Wanted to spend this week to do something meaningful, like starting a Book of Reflections for myself (finally decided to start!), but since my little cousins want so much to go USS before school reopens again, I change some my plans to enjoy the last week with them before I go for my doctor's visit again next week. It's going to be a chance for me to bond with them even more if situation and time allow. I shall not regret on my choice to go this time.
Having gone through so many things already these past few months, it gives me a chance to think about what I've accomplished spiritually so far. Although I've met with many, many setbacks, such as always throwing childish tantrums still whenever I've something that doesn't go my way, being extremely stubborn when mum wants me to do something I don't wish, giving my parents nasty feedback when I'm upset, expecting my family members to make me happy etc. and many, many more devilish things I've done, I didn't give up. I failed, I fell, I cried, I beat myself up emotionally when no one was looking, I reprimanded myself, but I know I won't give up so easily.
In the end, I managed to see myself improve little by little, with the help of daily reminders to read and take action, and to be more thoughtful to these important people in my life. I haven't done it good enough, but I know I'd improved, and I was happy for myself, but encouraged myself even more. The things I've learnt aren't easy. I thought I've learnt them in the past, but this journey shows me that I haven't, but I realized and kept doing, learning. I wouldn't be what I am now if not for my family. They are the ones who can give me harsh, but genuine feedback that I need for myself to see my real self in others' eyes. This is what I need very much. Thank you all. <3
